Meet Lara Holloran
As a Level 4 Master Instructor with specialised qualifications in orthopaedic conditions, back pain exercise specialist and women’s health, I am dedicated to helping clients improve their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being through personalised Pilates sessions.
A Strong Foundation in Pilates
I am trained in both Classical and Contemporary Pilates, allowing me to incorporate the best aspects of each approach into my teaching. My sessions are designed to blend the precision and discipline of Classical Pilates with the adaptability and modern techniques of Contemporary Pilates, ensuring a well-rounded and effective experience for every client.
A Personal Journey to Pilates
I founded Full Life Pilates after suffering a brain injury in 2017, which left me unable to see, speak, work, or retain any memories. Throughout my recovery, I insisted on continuing her Pilates practice, which played a crucial role in my rehabilitation. Pilates helped me regain strength, coordination, and confidence, allowing me to return to a full and normal life. Recognising the benefits and the positive impact that Pilates had on my own recovery, I was inspired to help others. I went on to qualify as an advanced Pilates teacher in 2019 and established Full Life Pilates to share her expertise and passion for movement with others.
Expertise in Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Pilates
With a strong background in orthopaedic conditions, I specialise in supporting clients with musculoskeletal concerns, including back pain, joint replacements, osteoporosis, and post-surgical rehabilitation. My deep understanding of movement mechanics allows me to create tailored exercise plans that promote recovery, strength, and mobility in a safe and structured way.
A Holistic Approach to Health & Well-being
I believe that movement is medicine and that Pilates should be accessible to all. Whether working with athletes, those recovering from injury, or individuals looking to improve their posture and mobility, I ensures that each session is tailored to the client's unique needs and goals. My approach integrates not only Pilates techniques but also education on posture, movement mechanics, and injury prevention.
Background & Passion for Continuous Learning
Alongside my work as a Pilates instructor, I also have a career in the civil service, where I have developed a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for helping others achieve their goals. My commitment to continuous professional development means I stay updated with the latest research and advancements in Pilates and rehabilitation, ensuring the highest standard of instruction for her clients.

I pride myself on creating a welcoming and supportive environment at Full Life Pilates. Whether through 1:1 or duo sessions, I ensure that every client receives the attention they need to progress safely and confidently in their practice.
